Christmas Eve

Now that Lola is home and I have been able to download my photos onto my computer, I can do my Christmas posts.

I'll start with Christmas Eve... I headed to Nocona on Christmas Eve. After unloading my very full car, we celebrated little Milly's 2nd Birthday. She opened her gifts and then she and Lola played chase and keep away with the new toys.

The chase and keep away is about to begin!

After the birthday festivities, we went to my grandparents for lunch. Meme had made a very good lunch for my mom, dad, and me. We were joined by a bullrider, his wife and little 3 year old girl. I might should know who he is, but since I don't have a clue about the world of professional bullriding, I don't.

We hung around Meme and Papa's until about 3:00 and then we rushed home to make the dessert to take to dinner and also a couple of things for Christmas lunch. We cooked right up until about 5:15. Then we quickly got cleaned up and ready to head to church at 6:00.

We went to church and then out to the Henley's for dinner. As is our tradition, we had prime rib for dinner. Yummy! Below are a couple of family pics from New Year's Eve: Mom, Dad & me first, then the next pic is of all the Henleys.

Miraculously, we left the Henley's by about 9:45-10:00 (way earlier than usual) and headed home. Then we opened our Christmas present before we went to bed.
Stay tuned for the Christmas Day post.
