Decorating for the 4th of July

Decorating for the Fourth of July is one of the easiest holidays to decorate for.  Just get a bunch of flag and stick them everywhere!  That is basically my philosophy when it comes to outside decorations at least, but inside I have a few other things...

My mantle is basically the same as last year with this sign and Uncle Sam car...
This decoration was used last year, but I got the "firecrackers" at Hobby Lobby for like 90% off after the 4th last year, so I added them to the arrangement...
Uncle Sam is by the fireplace this year.  Some years, he's been out front.  And I'm not going to lie, some years, he doesn't even make an appearance.  He's usually in the attic and since opening the attic in Texas in June or early July is akin to opening the door to Hell, he sometimes just gets left up there.  But this year, I thought ahead and when I was putting Christmas decorations back up in the attic in January, I went ahead and pulled Sam down.
A flag runner on the coffee table...
This sign is a new addition this year.  It's fairly large and I couldn't come up with anywhere great for it, so I just stuck it on the door leading out to the garage (and put a big old piece of tape on the back so that it wasn't constantly banging against the door when the door opened and closed)...
I love that it has glitter!

Now for the front yard:

The entry...

A closer look at the door sign & bunting...
The urn of ferns by the door...
Every other pot out front has flags as well...

and I stuck some flags around the tree...

In my backyard, I don't have anything fancy, just more flags in all my planters.

In my Gerber Daisy on the side table...
On the Daisy on my table...
In the large pot by my backdoor...
(And by the way, I think I've found the perfect thing to grow in this pot!  These coleus are going crazy!)
The planter outside my breakfast room window...

My kitchen window box from the outside...
and from the inside...

Your decorations look good, but all your flowers look great! You need to remember what's doing so well in this heat and plant it again next year. Love all your flags. When I cleaned out the pantry/closet I moved my flags and haven't been able to find them.

I love that you decorate for every holiday - and all your decorating looks fantastic! I love all the flags too! You need to have a 4th of July party so people can come over and admire your decorating skills! :)
